Creative Services
Tailored artistic expertise — locally rooted, nationally connected
ACT Natimuk’s Creative Services initiative builds on the success of Made in Natimuk, evolving from presenting work to delivering custom creative solutions. This new direction enables local artists to offer services in directing, curation, production, facilitation, writing, technical design, and more—both regionally and internationally.
By tapping into the deep skills developed through years of practice in Natimuk, Creative Services helps artists sustain their work while strengthening Natimuk’s profile as a centre for regional creativity.
It complements the MiN and Creative Lab programs by generating income, supporting professional growth, and connecting artists to new opportunities.
Creative Lab
Space to explore. Time to create.
Creative Lab is ACT Natimuk’s grant-based residency program that supports artistic development through experimentation, collaboration, and connection to place. Launched in 2021, it gives artists the time and resources to explore ideas at an early stage, often feeding into larger projects like the Nati Frinj.
The program includes a dedicated stream for First Nations artists, recognising the importance of supporting Indigenous-led creative practices and storytelling.

Auspicing
Looking for ACT Natimuk to auspice your project?
Auspicing is a great way for smaller groups or individuals to manage grant funds with the support of a larger organisation like ACT Natimuk. In an auspicing arrangement, we receive and manage the grant funds on your behalf, while you deliver the project. This is particularly important if the funder requires applicants to be incorporate and/or have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status, which ACT Natimuk holds.
